This is a collection of examples and training solutions I have created throughout my career.
Mars Veterinary Health
As an Instructional Designer for the Mars Veterinary Health Voyager Health Training Team, I have acted as the vILT and Sandbox Design Lead to redesign their Sandbox Activity Workbooks and virtual learning strategy for a new practice management system.
Feedback on the current Sandbox activities included the desire for more scenario-based examples. I designed a new look-and-feel using learning and design best practices and created new curriculum-based workbooks for each eLearning path:
Feedback on the current vILT solution states that learners feel it is repetitive of the eLearning content. While still under development, the following are examples of the new facilitator and participant guides for the Customer Service Coordinators (CSC) role that give clear direction to the vILT facilitators to deliver consistent messaging, and a thorough participant guide to support learners post-training to use the new system.
I have also created a job aid to explain how to use the new Pharmacy Templates feature. This job aid is for use by all veterinary hospital associates.
Other Examples
Using graphic animation tools like Powtoons can give your training solutions a more engaging look and feel to keep learners’ attention. Click here to view screenshots from an example Powtoons Whiteboard video discussing how to use ChatGPT.

PPD Training Team
The majority of solutions designed during my tenure at PPD are confidential and proprietary.
As part of the Training Team, I designed a soft skills course helping managers and leaders learn how to write messages with impact. I reviewed different concepts, provided examples, and offered exercises all in a blended learning solution. The tutorial pre-work was created using Articulate Rise.

PPD Process Optimization & Change Management
As part of the PPD Process Optimization and Change Management Team, I designed training solutions to support the execution of initiatives and reinforce change adoption. The majority of solutions I created are confidential and proprietary.
Job Aids
I created standardized job aid templates for the department to streamline our look and feel.
I was also the co-lead of the Multimedia Team, where we partnered with our internal business partners to create appropriate multimedia solutions for initiatives. As the request for video intensified, we could not be present to help with filming due to the company's remote and international culture. This job aid was instrumental in helping employees successfully prepare for and record personal videos used in training solutions and communications.
TIAA Learning and Development
During my tenure at TIAA, I had the pleasure of acting in several roles: Instructional Designer, Lead Performance Consultant, Senior Learning Consultant, and Learning Manager. All of the solutions I created are confidential and proprietary.
I designed and developed several online, instructor-led, print-based, and blended learning solutions using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Fireworks, and voice editing software. I am happy to speak to any of these projects in detail to discuss my approach, execution, and measurable outcomes.
Some of the projects I designed and developed, and the tools used to created include:
An interactive tutorial on the SDLC process using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate for video and voiceover, utilizing Adobe Fireworks to create an engaging comic book-esque look and feel
An outer space interactive eGame focusing on how to identify appropriate trade dates using Adobe Captivate
Tutorials on a variety of products using Lectora and Articulate Storyline
A blended learning approach to support Wealth Management Advisors on the new Advice offering
An interactive tutorial and simulation, combined with classroom training including scenario-based learning, on a new Siebel interface using a Lectora wrapper and Adobe Captivate for simulations and voiceover, utilizing Adobe Fireworks for image editing
I have acquired extensive experience in designing, developing, planning and managing training solutions for Fortune 100 corporations. My instructional technology philosophy revolves around the seamless integration of customized learning solutions to fit audience needs, the Dick and Carey instructional design model, and the ADDIE framework. By synthesizing traditional pedagogical principles with cutting-edge technologies, we can create enriching learning environments that inspire curiosity, foster collaboration, and empower learners to thrive in the digital age.
