About Me
I have acted in the roles of an Instructional Designer, Lead Performance Consultant, Senior Learning Consultant, Learning Manager, Principal Optimization Specialist and Change Management Leader throughout my 10+ year career working with multiple Fortune 100 companies. My instructional design philosophy revolves around the seamless integration of customized learning solutions to fit learner needs, the ADDIE model based on the Dick and Carey Instructional Systems Design Model, appropriate application of Bloom’s Taxonomy and ensuring levels of ROI via implementing Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation. By synthesizing traditional pedagogical principles with cutting edge technologies, we can create enriching learning experiences that inspire curiosity, foster collaboration and empower learners to thrive in the digital age.
Ensuring that the results of any learning solution is adopted is critical, so applying Change Management principles when designing and implementing training is imperative to ensure that learners are able to successfully apply what they’ve learned and can do so in the quickest way possible. Mitigating push back and encouraging impacted associates to embrace changes as a result of learning a new process, system or concept is part of the overall learning package that I provide as a learning professional.
As a leader, I create a collaborative and welcoming environment with strong leadership, coaching, encouragement and passion. I always strive to give my team the best of myself and look for opportunities for us all to grow as a team.

Mars Veterinary Health
As the Instructional Design Lead for the Mars Veterinary Health Voyager Health Training Team, I have been responsible for the redesign and redevelopment of all persona Sandbox Workbooks, vILT offerings, eLearning and print-based training for the new industry-changing practice management system. I also initiated the design of new facilitator and learner guide templates as well as a new job aid template, complying with corporate branding requirements.
Feedback on the current Sandbox activities included the desire for more scenario-based examples. I designed a new look-and-feel using learning and design best practices and created new curriculum-based workbooks for each eLearning path. Click here to view the Hospital Leader Sandbox Activity Workbook, which is a compilation of all sections used for each persona.
Feedback on the current vILT solution states that learners feel it is repetitive of the eLearning content. The examples below display the new facilitator and participant guides for the Customer Service Coordinators (CSC) role that give clear direction to the vILT facilitators to deliver consistent messaging, and a thorough participant guide to support learners post-training in using the new system.
Development of the redesigned eLearning modules is underway and includes more robust scenarios within each module. Below are examples of storyboards for some of the courses included in multiple persona curriculum paths after content analysis and SME review was completed.
I have led the review and redesign of multiple job aids, some initially created by the Change Management Team, as well as created new job aids to support new feature enhancements and processes. As part of leading this effort, I trained members of the facilitation team to create job aids using the newly designed template I created. The following are examples of job aids I have created during my tenure which are used by a variety of different associate roles throughout the veterinary hospitals.
Gainwell Technologies
During my short time at Gainwell Technologies, I was the first member of the Change Management Team as their Leader, reporting to the Vice President. My main contribution during my tenure was the development of a change management methodology which has been used to define the strategy and components of change initiatives moving forward for state software implementations, along with building a team of analysts. I also built a strong team of change analysts to assist in a state-wide implementation of the Medicaid software platform.

PPD
The majority of solutions designed during my time at PPD are confidential and proprietary.
As part of the Training Team, I designed a soft skills course helping managers and leaders learn how to write messages with impact. I reviewed different concepts, provided examples, and offered exercises all in a blended learning solution. The tutorial pre-work was created using Articulate Rise.
As part of the PPD Process Optimization and Change Management Team, I designed training solutions to support the execution of initiatives and reinforce change adoption. PPD Translates is one of the largest projects I led change efforts for and impacted departments across multiple functions and a variety of associates. As part of my solution, I created a Manager Toolkit that identified key messages for leaders to share with their teams, with handouts or presentations, and a schedule for delivering these messages. Part of my role was to partner with Communications to craft multiple newsletter articles and announcements which incorporated change strategies and messaging. I also assisted with creating the internal SharePoint site and providing an animated GIF that was used not only for online marketing, but also for Town Halls.
I was also co-lead of the Multimedia Team where we partnered with our internal business partners to create appropriate multimedia solutions for initiatives. As the request for video intensified, we could not be present to help with filming due to the company's remote and international culture.

TIAA
During my tenure at TIAA, I had the pleasure of acting in several roles: Instructional Designer, Lead Performance Consultant, Senior Learning Consultant, and Learning Manager. All of the solutions I created are confidential and proprietary.
I conducted analysis on training request content and created project scope documents for each proposed solution which was then presented to the project team for review and approval. One of my earliest project scope documents outlined a complex Siebel enhancements training delivered to multiple audiences and roles impacting over 2000 people.
I designed and developed several online, instructor-led, print-based, and blended learning solutions using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Fireworks, and voice editing software. I am happy to speak to any of these projects in detail to discuss my approach, execution, and measurable outcomes.
Some of the projects I designed and developed, and the tools used to created include:
An interactive tutorial on the SDLC process using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate for video and narration, utilizing Adobe Fireworks to create an engaging comic book-esque look and feel that received a 92% completion rate for internal and contract workers, courtesy of leadership support, and a 4.4 learner satisfactory rating
Outer space-themed interactive eGames focusing on how to identify appropriate trade dates using Adobe Captivate
Tutorials on a variety of products using Lectora and Articulate Storyline
A blended learning approach to support Wealth Management Advisors on the new Advice offering
An interactive tutorial and simulation, combined with classroom training including scenario-based learning, on a new Siebel interface using a Lectora wrapper and Adobe Captivate for simulations and narration, utilizing Adobe Fireworks for image editing
As Learning Manager, I lead a team of instructional designers and consultants to create a robust blended training program for the Client Solutions organization, which is compiled of eight disparate smaller organizations that were grouped under one umbrella. I led the effort to analyze foundation product and service knowledge needs that could be addressed through eLearning mediums and partnered with vendors to design creative and adaptive learning paths to meet learners where they are during their journey, from new to seasoned employees. We also conceptualized the start-to-finish coaching program that certified top performers in their respective roles to train other employees - new hires or those with opportunities for improvement - using customized training manuals, coaching workshops, job aids, and collaborative learning features using our Cornerstone LMS.
Other Examples
Using graphic animation tools like Powtoons can give your training solutions a more engaging look and feel to keep learners’ attention.
